Features
- Charcoal used in Japan since the Edo period. Binchotan is said to take up moisture and odour and to give off far-infrared radiation.
- Kishu binchotan, finely ground. Good-quality charcoal made from ubame oak is ground to a fine powder, worked into rayon fibre and blended with cotton.
- Odour held in the pores. The microscopic pores on the charcoal surface trap odour molecules, which is where the deodorising effect comes from.

Care
Wash separately — dark colours may cloud the wash water. Avoid fabric softener for the first few washes. Do not use chlorine bleach.
