How embroidery works

More than something you buy — a name makes it yours for life.

Gauze woven from lightly twisted yarn on one face, and zero-twist pile less than half the thickness of ordinary towel yarn on the other — a double-faced cloth that is light and soft on both sides.

Soft whichever side you use. Both the pile face and the gauze face are soft, and both hold warmth and take up water well.
Made for delicate skin. The combination suits baby goods and anyone whose skin is easily irritated.

Care

Wash separately in a laundry net — the pile yarn snags easily. Use a lint trap. Avoid fabric softener for the first few washes. Do not use chlorine bleach on coloured items.
